Erascend ("the Service") is operated by Erascend LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("Erascend," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Erascend.

Erascend uses AI to analyze the career material you provide — your resume, career history, LinkedIn profile, saved job opportunities, and other content you add — to score job matches, generate application materials (career intelligence briefs, interview playbooks, resumes, cover letters), and surface patterns across your career. It also runs an automated background scanner that searches job postings against criteria you configure.

Erascend also offers optional, separate features for personal reflection: Legacy Prospectus (a shareable keepsake document built from reflections and memories you choose to record), Personal Growth Intelligence™ (a private, self-facing pattern analysis of that same material), and Revelations (a document that looks for genuine connections between your career patterns and your personal ones). These are entirely optional, are not required to use the career-focused parts of the Service, and are currently available to a limited set of accounts as we continue developing them.

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Erascend's analysis is only as good as what goes into it. By using the Service, you agree that:

1. Everything you input is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge — no fabricated titles, achievements, dates, or metrics.
2. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content (resumes, cover letters, match scores, pattern analyses, and everything else the Service produces) before relying on it or sending it anywhere, including to employers.
3. Erascend does not guarantee job placement, interview outcomes, or any particular result from using the Service.

To manage infrastructure costs, Erascend's automated job-scanning feature runs on a variable schedule tied to account activity. Accounts with recent activity are scanned every 4 hours. Accounts with no activity (logins, saved-search changes, application/status updates) for 15 or more consecutive days are scanned once daily until activity resumes. This does not limit your ability to use any other part of the Service at full functionality at any time. We reserve the right to adjust these thresholds, intervals, or scanning behavior generally, to manage service cost and quality, with or without notice.

You agree not to: use the Service to submit false or fraudulent information to employers; attempt to access another user's account or data; interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure (including automated/excessive use designed to circumvent rate limits); or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

You retain ownership of the career content you provide (resume, career history, notes, and similar material). By using the Service, you grant Erascend a license to process that content as needed to provide the Service, including sending relevant portions to third-party AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

Erascend's own platform, including its methodology, frameworks, generated document templates, and underlying software, is owned by Erascend LLC and is not licensed to you beyond your right to use the Service itself.

Match scores, priority levels, and generated documents are produced by AI models applied to your content and job posting text, not reviewed by a human before being shown to you. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation — see Section 5.

Erascend offers a free plan (limited to 10 saved opportunities and 3 AI-generated application packages, both lifetime limits, with no access to the automated job scanner) and a paid plan that removes those limits. Generating Legacy Prospectus, Personal Growth Intelligence™, or Revelations also requires the paid plan. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. You can view invoices, update your payment method, or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal (accessible from within the Service). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law. We may change pricing for future billing periods with advance notice.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Erascend LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any errors, omissions, or consequences arising from information you provide or content the Service generates. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy, Section 5). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
